For over 60 years Avon has operated as a proudly New Zealand family owned and operated business.

The business began life in the 1960’s from a home garage in Christchurch, New Zealand, initially selling prints and making mouldings. By the time I became involved in 2004, Avon was a well-established participant in the industry and had grown to be New Zealand’s largest custom picture moulding manufacturer.

In 2007 we strengthened our relationship with Antons Mouldings who are based in Melbourne, Australia. They added further depth to our already extensive product range.

We relocated our main premises following the Christchurch earthquakes of 2010 and 2011.  Our friendly and experienced team have been operating from our warehouse in Onehunga, Auckland ever since.

We are a full-service provider to custom framers.

Avon’s product range is extensive, and we provide the best quality materials for the picture framing craft, including moulding, canvas stretcher bar, matboards, foam and backing boards, glass, accessories, and with the highest quality machinery to put it all together.

We are creative and nuanced in our selection of mouldings and other products, and they’re well suited to our New Zealand market and culture. And as part of a logistics and supply chain, we carry a full range of well stocked items, aiming to fulfil orders quickly and efficiently.
